Samsung has downgraded & upgraded the Galaxy S21’s 6.2-inch AMOLED display from the S20’s previously featured display. You no longer have to choose between Full HD+ resolution running at 120Hz or QHD running at 60Hz, as you did with the Galaxy S20, but that’s because the S21 tops out at 1080p resolution.
As mentioned, Samsung did this to help keep the price of the new phone down & unless you’ve used a phone with a QHD resolution, we’re not sure you’ll be able to easily tell the difference. – We found that all the videos we watched on the S21 were reasonably high-quality on the Full HD+ panel.
Performance
Both processors offer exceptional performance, ensuring smooth multitasking & efficient gaming. Paired with 8GB of RAM, the S21 handles demanding applications & games with ease, providing a lag-free experience.
The device comes with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, though it’s important to note that there’s no microSD card slot for expandable storage. This can be a drawback for users who need extensive storage for apps, photos, and videos. However, the high-speed UFS 3.1 storage technology ensures fast read and write speeds, allowing efficient data management.
